This little tree survived having a large ash tree branch landing on it and bending it double! :-)))

Your little tree is gorgeous Spritz...I love this colour.

It is lovely, thanks Milky and Motinot. :-))

Joanella, when we got the ash branch off it, only two little pieces had to be pruned off! I was amazed...I think it was because it was only a year old then, so the 'trunk' was still flexible.

gosh that was lucky bet you were scared to look..

22 Mar, 2010

I was VERY upset at seeing it - I thought the prunus was finished for good. I was very relieved to see it relatively undamaged! :-)))

22 Mar, 2010

Who says I wasn't, Amy? lol.

22 Mar, 2010

Very handsome and scented too I believe. :-)

23 Mar, 2010

Grogeous prunus bloom color. Very rich. So glad it survived being clobbered on the head! Probably be a good year, feeling like it could get through anything. lol!

23 Mar, 2010

It is very pretty....and scented too?.....

23 Mar, 2010

Oh dear - I'll try to remember to stick my nose in it on the way out with H. this morning!

23 Mar, 2010

What a lovely little tree - another one to tempt me!

23 Mar, 2010

Too heavy to cart around now, Spritz! LOL

23 Mar, 2010

LOL....

I did sniff it this morning - couldn't sense any scent, though. It was a bit damp and blowy out there, though.

23 Mar, 2010

23 Mar, 2010

Yes!! :-)))

23 Mar, 2010

Beautiful tree........

23 Mar, 2010

Glad everyone approves - I have to admit that it was an impulse buy at a Nursery where I went for something else - then I had to persuade OH that it 'could' be fitted in! :-)))

24 Mar, 2010

As you do.........!!

24 Mar, 2010

We had to remove a circle of grass and dig, but it did fit in well. It wasn't one of my 'shoehorn' efforts! Now that makes a change. :-))

24 Mar, 2010

I love this one, mine's in bloom now too, always look forward to it :)

26 Mar, 2010

How nice to hear that you've got one as well, Grindle! It's a lovely colour, isn't it. How long has yours been in?

26 Mar, 2010

I love it for it's early blossom, and it really stands out in the garden at this time of year, the one I have is about 5 years old, I brought it with me from my other garden as it was small enough to move, it's standing about 5ft tall now.

27 Mar, 2010

A bit bigger than mine, then. Well, a little bit! :-))

27 Mar, 2010

how tall will it get?

22 Feb, 2011

Not much bigger, Sticki - maybe 6 -7'.

22 Feb, 2011

22 Feb, 2011
