Do you know if you can propagate from the little rosettes??

19 Apr, 2009

They should all propagate well. Succulents like to get a rest for a week or two after a snipping before putting in a porous medium like perlite to begin rooting. Helps them decide to start rooting before adding more moisture, They can be lost to rot most easily. Little plastic box with a lid help to regulate moisture. New plant in a month.

OK - I shall have a go! Thanks.

Good luck. I've not had one fail unless I tried putting it right into something. Uncovered, I fill water to the perlite surface and then let it dehydrate away, always a good root sytem by then.
