a Phalaenopsis orchid Hi i think this is the type of orchid I have and two of its leaves are turning yellow. i have watered it carefully letting the water drain through and i can see roots through the pot which appear to be OK but the top ones have dried up. there are four other leaves and it finished flowering a few months back and i did trim the stems as suggested to just above a nodule.

They do lose a leaf occasionally - that's normal. Do please read the blog - it might help with getting it back into bloom.
