Also when should i start to feed my grass??

sorry for the delay in saying thank you,but the weather has been great here for the last few days, so i have spent hours and hours in the garden,i ached so much this morning that my wife had to put my sox on me because i couldnt bend over,so thank you for your help, walter

lol. sore backs i think we gardeners all get. youve reminded me that iv a lot of peonys ive divided and have tucked away to plant about now. thats tomorrow sorted

As long as the soil is not frozen or waterlogged, paeonies shoud be planted in winter or early spring as they start into growth very early in the season. They are also extremely tough plants and will take cold weather in their stride

As it is in a pot it can go in the ground as soon as you can do it. but not if the ground is frozen.
