I have an old sewing machine on my porch with various pots on and around it. I put crocus bulbs in the little drawers on the front and they flowered. This morning I noticed a pot had been knock off and the crocuses had been attacked. Most were pulled out and lying on the floor and the flowers had been eaten. We are in the country close to fields and woods at the foot of the Mendips. Which animal is most likely to have done this. Only the crocuses were touched.
