Strawberries

I planted three plants in pots, they appeared to be doing well, had a few small fruits which disappeared and nothing since ?? The plants appear very healthy and are continuing to spread.

probably blackbirds!!, but in the 1st year you won't get many fruits anyway , keep them watered in summer and next year you should have a crop, but net them!

Agree with Steve - If you had plenty of flowers but no fruit - definitely the Blasted Birds! Or slugs/snails - they get *anywhere* and can be long gone by the time you go to look for your strawberry breakfast! Good luck for next year
