how do i take a cutting from a clematis

Answers

You can take from layering it into the ground and pegging down one of the nodulers, but I just cut a peice off at one of the nodules and stick it in a pot for cuttings they always seem to take, I very seldom use rooting powder either, best time to take is before or new growth, or even about now after flowering autum time, place a platic bag over the pot if your putting in a pot.
