An Appeal: Sorry, this is not a gardening question but - My mother, 97 years young enjoys growing tomatoes. However, she is pretty much house-bound and cannot find anyone who can get her some tomato plants. (I live in Belgium so cannot really get them for her). Is there anyone out there, with a couple of spare tomato plants who would be willing to post them to a UK address and make an old lady very happy. If anyone can help, I will of course happily reimburse any costs involved. Please PM me if you may be able to help. If not, does anyone know whether a wb-site like Crocus have them and are they reliable with good stock?

Gosh Meanie. Never heard of Freegle! However, I've managed to find some now so hopefully she'll be a happy lady in a couple of days.
Thanks again to Hank, Steragram and Scotkat.
