My white camellia for the past 2 years has come into a lot of buds and then they have browned and fallen off. Any ideas please

often its frost on the bud that then gets the early sun so they get damaged. no soultion unless you screen them or move the plant but this may not be an option if they are in the ground.

As SBG says really important that if the buds get frosted they do not then get early morning sun - killer combination... So either move camellia or add other shrubs around to protect (ours is protected on by a hedge at back, ponderosa pie to right and tree peony to left.

Camellias will drop their flower buds in spring if they didn't get enough water in the August before (how do they remember!). Is it against a wall in the 'rain shadow'? I try to give mine a good dowse in summer and a feed too.

How do I say thanks?
