spring flying over 2

end of fight and calm reigns again…
we were so lucky to see this.
my first rose opened today on a banksia alba plena after yesterday’s nearly opening rosebud, an archduke joseph, managed to get itself eaten by a slug.
i hope the banksia is a banksia, i have put a question out on that one as it seems to be a very slow grower.. and i got this given as an uncertain cutting 3 years ago.
lots of weeding and putting up of a structure to grow a rose and a honeysuckle up on the north cliff path
i have no pictures of this yet but will try some later this week

You are having quite a learning curve with your gardening in France...I notice you are quite a new member? If that is the case....welcome :)
Not too keen on the snakes either I'm afraid...but you did get some excellent photos all the same.

Not so sure about the snake picture as I don't like them but glad to hear about your rose.
