Why, do we have holidays! Do you remember last year when I came back from Turkey in September how much work and clearing up there was to do? Well this time, I couldn’t believe my eyes. All that work I put in on the allotment and all of those weeds have come back again! Not to mention the fact that you all had better weather here. We arrived to glorious sunshine and 2 hours later , it clouded over and rained for 3 days! Hubby and I had to buy a track suit each to keep us warm. It did get better as the week went on and we had a lovely time. We arrived home to sunny and warm weather , but now its wet and cold and have relit the fire for the heating. Did we have the summer in March! Roll on the next holiday!

Oh Rose, you are just like us, we always seem to get bad weather on holiday...that's why we play it as safe as possible, but still, even in The Canary Islands in March the weather was better here for that week...unbelieveable! Glad you are back anyway, we missed you and there's no place like home!

Thanks Karen, we even went to Tenerife one year with the family, ( not our choice) and it rained every day! This is the first time we have had unsettled weather in Turkey though. We met some New zealanders while we there and they said it was the worst summer they had had, so it looks like its all over.
Thanks Willinillie, I'll need another holiday to get over all this work , oh I just realised you said that as well Elizabeth! lol. You better come over and help me!

Cheer up, Rose, and welcome home! We have had hot and sunny weather here so no wonder your weeds have gone mad - they've had all their birthdays at once. Hope you've had a super holiday!
