Two more pictures!

Although I have many pictures, these two are my favourites. The one with the roses I painted for a special friend who sadly died a few years ago and as I had painted quite a few pictures for her over the years, her daughter after clearing my friend’s little bungalow brought them back to me. So now every time I look at this I will think of Betty!

Unfortunately the picture of the first one is not as bright as it should be. I am having problems getting pictures from my camera to the chrome book and when I do, it takes ages to actually find them!
So frustrating!
The second one was at East Bergholt, Constable country. I took my pad and sketched the picture, took a photo and then painted it at home.

Such talent, Rose. It is a true cottage garden. We went to Bergholt a little while go and loved the area. You've caught it well.

Yes, I particularly like the second one. My dad used to take landscape photos in the summer and then spend the winter months painting watercolours of them.
He is gone now but I still have some of his paintings on my bedroom walls. Lovely memories.
