Our garden now after the holiday!

We have recently come home from a lovely holiday in Norfolk!
The weather was so hot and just enjoyed sitting by the Broads watching the boats and the world go by!
So, I thought I would show you how some of the garden looks now!

So, these are my dahlias which are in the raised bed I built.
I think I will have to find another part of the garden for them next year though as the stems were so high and made the box look unsightly!
The next few are just around the garden. I should really take photos of my roses as they were all in flower again when we got home.

I haven’t had Busy Lizzies for a long time now, so thought it would make a change as they have done really well! I have quite a few pots around different parts of the garden.

I bought this Salvia a few weeks before we went away!

This is a view from the conservatory of one half of the main garden.
I have never took a photo from in there before! The rest of the garden just carries on past the conservatory and through arches to the rose garden.
It was a lovely holiday, but it’s nice to be back!

Your dahlias are so beautiful but then so is everything in your garden. You must have been thrilled with how it looked when you arrived home.
I very much like the view from your conservatory - now I could get very comfy in there Rose!!!

Nice array of dahlias, Rose. Your garden is cheering and I'm envious of your conservatory - great view!
We obviously missed you in Norfolk. We came back on Friday after a hellish journey. I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that the only way to avoid continuous hold-ups and roadworks is to stay at home. Having said that, having different views to look at was wonderful after all the lockups!

So glad you and Rick had a lovely Holiday, and what a wonderful sight to come back to,Rose..Your Dahlias are beautiful, and so colourful, and nice to see the view you have from that part of your Conservatory..:o) How about showing us a view of the other side ? I'm sure it's just as lovely :o) .I haven't had Bizzy Lizzies for a while either, as the last ones didn't do well at all. Your garden is certainly worth coming back home for :o)

Thank you Seaburn.
Thank you Stera! I am really pleased with the Salvia !
Thank you Linda! It's worth the wait!
Thanks Chris! I have a very good neighbour who came every day to water! You can get comfy in our conservatory anytime Chris!
That's a pity Anget! If I had known you were going , we could have met up! I love our conservatory! It's nice to relax in even in the winter!
Thanks Sandra! I was worried that after the heat wave that we would come home to wilting flowers, but my good neighbour came in every day to check them.
It might be difficult to show the other side as one of the rose arches are close to the window!

Your garden is still giving you a brilliant show, esp the dahlias. I love the salvia. I have garden sage & it comes back better every year with its blue flower spikes. It's wonderfully fragrant even when not in bloom and sweetens the air but not too much.

I'm glad you had a nice holiday Rose, your garden is beautiful, lovely Dahlias, but yes they do grow tall, I am going to try them in pots next year,
very picturesque view from your conservatory, it must be a pleasure to sit in there :)

Pleased you had a good holiday Rose, I always think its good to get away for a holiday but have always felt pleased when I'm home again to see how everything is faring without me, you have a lovely show of blooms to welcome you back, all my flowers are very tall this year, guess they went looking for the sun and more light when we had all the grey days, lol, do like the view from your conservatory, we haven't got one but have french doors opening out from the sitting room, so I can sit inside and admire, watch the birds, in fact both our rooms look out onto the back garden...Lovely photo's Rose..x

Love your Dahlias, especially the pink double one. I haven't seen that variety before. You have plenty of colour at the moment & a lovely view through the window.
