Frosty Days!

After Ange2 had shown the frost on her plants, I thought I would go out and take some photos.
I don’t normally venture out when it’s frosty but I am pleased I did!
I can’t believe this penstemon is still flowering!
The colour on the Jasmine is really bright this year.
This rose bush is still carrying on despite the weather!
Pieris leaves.
These are the leaves of my Ballerina rose.
The sparrows enjoying their bath even if the water is so cold!
Take care my friends and keep warm!

Nice to see you've still got some flowers surviving Rose :)

Well done for taking these photos in the bitter cold! Like your garden, I had some Penstemons and a single Rose in bloom, the frost and then sleet/snow yesterday afternoon has decimated them, of course.

Gosh you are brave Rose, its freezing out there, I've given up trying to keep the birdbaths de-iced, thankfully we have an area in the pond that the netting does not cover where some potted plants are growing, the birds can take a bath and get a drink from there, as you know our pump runs all year so it has not completely frozen over, unlike the bottom pond...
Lovely photo's Rose xx...

A frosted garden does look pretty but sadly the damage that the frost causes is not so pretty!! We have some sad looking plants out there now!
You have a lovely record of how yours look at the moment!

Thanks Paul!
Thank you Hywel. Can't believe how they are surviving the cold weather!
Thanks Shirley. It's amazing isn't it how plants survive and even though it was quite frosty and snow falling , are still hanging on !
Thanks Sue, I just put really hot water over the bird baths and it seems to stay clear of frost most of the day.
Thank you Chris! I looked back to see when we last had this cold weather and it was in 2018 and got snowed in the village where we lived then.
