Still some problems!

all my functions seem to be fine except it says I have 13 unread messages, though they have all been read and seen.

just found out that I cant flag a blog about religious education. otherwise all ok.

Eileen, mine says there are 229 unread messages!!!

I thought a dozen were a lot!!! Lol! I'd already seen them all & replied to some. Let's hope the improvement continues & we can get back to our "old GoY"!

I am told I have 57 new messages but I've seen them all except one new one. I can only reply or delete them, it does not allow me to say I've seen them.
When I try to reply I get a message saying "Oops we can't find that page" ... so sorry to anyone who's sent me a message.

And I can't say I've 'seen' blogs and photos I've commented on.

More needs to be done I think.

I thought it was something wrong my end as I'm using a new laptop, I've been trying to answer Shirley for ages but I kept getting the Oops!!! message, not been around much lately as I got a tad frustrated at losing my comments and suchlike, glad its not just me....

I have received it Shirley but it won't allow me to reply, I sent mine to you via your profile page also, I guess if we wish to converse we have to go to whatever page is allowing us to use, I might try and write a blog again and see what happens.....x

Don't it make you cross, I've managed to comment on a couple of blogs today so I guess thats progress of a sort, I've been busy in the garden whilst its nice but I refuse to mow the lawns on a Sunday, might regret that if our forecast for this week is correct Shirley... x

Well, it's a start, better than just a message saying the site can't be reached! I haven't looked ahead to the weather for next week yet so I guess rain is forecast?

Slowly, oh so slowly, it seems GoY is beginning to function properly again! At least the News Feed loads though all the links are "Photo untitled" so you have to open them all if you can't remember where you left off the last time you opened the page!

I managed to upload a couple of photos this evening! 👍🏻

David, I have just emailed Dave to see if it's possible to stop my news page showing 'Photo Untitled' as it's infuriating to have to click on , not knowing what you'll be looking at!

I quite agree with you, Shirley! I just click on the links that have come up new since I was last on the page. If I've seen it before I just close the tab. If I haven't seen it before I may make a comment or a like (the "Like" buttons function for me) or I might just pass it by. But it is indeed frustrating!

I haven't been on GoY for a little while due to being crazy hectic with work until I finished for leave a week ago. We've been finishing some things "post builders' finishing too.
Then my parents visited and we went to Amsterdam for a few days.
Phew! That's me sorted!

I didn’t realise until I came back on yesterday, that the problems were so serious! I see lots of blogs missing, people’s pics gone awol etc..and it’s really sad. I do hope things are on the way back to normal for us on GoY. I’d really miss everyone and the camaraderie!

The last few years I've hardly written any blogs & I've uploaded a lot fewer photos than I used to. I've also not loged in every day like I used to but that has changed now & I'm back on GoY practically every day as well s adding photos more frequently & making more comments again! 👍🏻

I've been so busy modding on Flickr that I have had little time to do anything else but this year, a few months ago, I stopped modding 6 groups & now only mod two, one of which is mine.

I can't remember the last time I was able to comment,or anything else for that matter,over the past weeks,so I gave up trying ! I did have to get a new laptop,so was without for a few weeks,but my techie friend,was able to transfer everything from the old hard drive,so I hadn't lost anything..
I must say,I don't seem to have the same interest anymore, which is sad,as a lot of us have been members since the start,although I only joined the year after in 2008..
I'm still in touch with a few friends personally, via Emails/Social media ,so those of you I am in contact with,will remain the same, but my input on Goy,won't be as often as it used to be..
,I have noticed,when I log in,it asks for my Email address, but also next to the request ,it says ' Why ' ???
Has anyone else had this ,as I'd like to know why also..

Its really wound me up today Sandra, I was able to comment on some blogs but not others,can't message anyone, still won't let me add photo's but the bit that has done my head in is the fact that I cannot flag the diabolical blogs, how in HADES do they come through all the time, as you know Sandra I am on FB and its a good thing as I'd lose all my friends wouldn't I..I hate to say it but I'm about ready to give up on it, thats how angry I am....

Apparently there's a lot of work that needs doing to the site and it is not known when it will be finished.

Well it seems it's been completed now! 👍

The News Feed is working properly again & things seem quite fast now. 👍
