Pansies and Violas

I thought I’d share an observation with you all…..
For the first time in a while I thought I’d give some Pansies and Violas a go in the garden.
The main reason I did so was that unlike other years I’ve found very little signs of slug and snail activity. I find in my garden they get devoured almost immediately. Therefore a complete waste of time and money.
The plants dropped all their flowers immediately after planting. Fine I told myself. They’ll come back again. Last week I noticed many of them had new flower buds, I was hopeful of some smiley happy faces. I began scratching my head when I noticed that none of the flowers appeared. I put it down to frost. I noticed today that 2 very pretty blue flowers were bobbing around in the breeze. All’s well I told myself! The rest will follow, surely?
That was until I turned at one point to see Kooki (one of my cats) bite off and eat both flowers.
So perhaps it’s not been the weather after all!

lol I've never heard of a cat doing that before :D
I wonder what they taste like ?
I once had a cat who used to take off all my heather flowers, and throw them on the path ! :(

Oh my goodness I always blame the birds when my flowers disappear, now you have me wondering as we have three cats here, also have to admit that I also laughed, sorry Scottish but it is funny.......

Glad to have made some of you laugh. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I never would have believed it either. I've never tasted them before so the next one is mine, just out of curiosity.
