what a difference five days make!

Well I made it back home safe, despite the snow, wind and rain. Family all fine and had to spend five minutes with each family member before I could sneak out to the back garden. All outdoor pots fine, rain helped here and those that had to go in and out also looking good. Into the greenhouse………one little penstemon looking dry, all the other plants ………. all alive and so much bigger YIPPEE. :o) :o)
Dahlia sprouting as well as Lilium martagon :o)
It’s been an anxious 5 days as where I have been has had really bad mobile signal, that moved depending on the weather, so very little contact with those left at home.
So 5 days later there is so much growth in the garden its really amazing. Hoping brother is visiting tomorrow with his camera.
Thanks for all the comments of hope, they helped.

the break was hard work but in the great outdoors it was well worthwhile. saw some very rare plants too. skin has never been so soft what with the rain and the moisturiser!
we have sketchy mobile signal in our village too.

You've trained them well, Seaburngirl. Lots of praise where it's due then.

Hi Seaburngirl! I think you were missed on this site, lots of unanswered questions still need answering! You should call yourself "the oracle!", lol, just kidding!! (ie page the oracle for any questions you want answered!)
Glad all went ok and that your plants survived your stay away! I was thinking of you, so maybe the karma "flew over!" Lol!
