More unmentionable stuff today.

I had to get up rather early this morning as I could hear one of the rabbits throwing the food bowl around. So up and dressed and out to find Victoria’s rabbit Poppy was the culprit.

After both rabbits woken up and fed I noticed that many of the pots had this unwelcome covering.

This is Iris Kathleen Hodgkin. They were a 50th birthday gift and flowered last year. All I have done is replace the topsoil and kept them out of the way until last weekend. Really pleased with these beauties.

By daylight the extent of the covering was getting worse. In fact many of the roads were getting blocked. The M62 and the Humber Bridge being two of the worst in our area.

We have more forecast for tomorrow too :o(
