sticky day!

Been in the garden most of the day (supposed to be wallpapering ho hum!) and its a very sticky day here, overcast and muggy, but i got the long border sorted out had some couch grass growing, horrible stuff, so pulled that out, I got the day lily planted as it was getting pot bound, and I also put in the Chrysanthemum plants they are really coming on now, in the woodland bit the Comfrey plant had been blown over by the high wind we had here last week so i chopped off the fallen bits to put in the compost bin, will keep some leaves back and make some stinky plant food!!
I have a really rough bit in the garden behind the pond where the old greenhouse was and its covered in flipping weeds and grass, I can’t put weedkiller on it as there are a few climbing roses growing on the fence, its also got some rubble from when the new fence was put in its a MESS!! I pulled up the weeds i could get to and tidied round the compost bin, we really need a skip and some strong men!! Anyone know any? Never mind we’ll get there and i must admit there is a lot of wildlife round there, frogs and wee beasties amongst the rubble,
Above see some of the wildlife in the grotty bit of garden LOL!
and this is my ‘Toffee table’ ha ha ha!

Toffee seems to be giving all the hard work a miss, well isn't that what a cat's life is all about? He's looking very handsome there on the table.

Great blog, Sewingkilla. Toffee knows where he's best off by the look of it.
And, if I knew of any strong men, d'you think I'd tell you?

The wildlife doesn't look that 'wild' sleeping in your wheelbarrow SK. HeHe.
Your not to far from me I think, I'll give you a hand if you like, but it'll cost you.
I charge 1 cup of coffee per hour and a sandwitch for lunch LOL.

I didn't know Borage was good for making plant food. I'm growing some this year - the first time for many years. I'll try and do that likeyou do with comfrey.
