Well i never learn, done too much today in the glorious weather, dug borders, cut grass and dug up my Aster as it was getting too big, split it into 6 took 2 to my neighbour as she gives me lots of plants, and then split mine again got another 3 bits out of it have dotted them round the garden, wish i could remember its name as its a really good ‘dooer’ as my grandad would have said! Its a glorious pink and does not get mildew. This is what it looks like in flower
My pond seems to have a leak somewhere i keep having to top it up, i can’t do anything at the moment as its full of tadpoles so will wait till they’ve gone then it will be a smelly messy job to find out whats happened!
After a busy morning sat in the sunshine and watched the bees buzzing round, saw my first butterfly must have been one that overwintered,
Hubby brought me some feed and weed for the lawn, i use the word ‘lawn’ loosely!! also some weedkiller and some tomato food ready for feeding various plants.
I tied in the clematis that are sprouting like mad, put some compost round various plants, checked my mini greenhouse where things are coming along nicely although i have lost one of my Fuschias don’t know why either not watered enough or over watered maybe.
Such a busy day and my lovely hubby fetched fish and chips from the chippy for tea!

Lovely. The sun was glorious today. ive been working on my wildlife area. A little more slowly than I had hoped. As yesterday spent forever in the graden didn't even remember to have lunch until 5 oclock!!! Went in the shower came out still thinking about the garden and smacked my foot into a box and broke my toe!!!! I did this 2 yrs ago same toe lol So I'm hobbling around lol. I spent ages this morning writing a blog and working out how to put photos into it. Took forever. But I did it. I do like your little green hse. Wished I'd seen that before I bought the one that goes over my raised bed. It wont stay up!!!

I must get some mildew resistant ones, i noticed today that the new growth on mine has already got it :-((

If not 'Barr's Pink' how about 'Alma Potschke'? It looks like the one I have!

Like you, I've spent lots of time in the garden over the last 3 days and now I can hardly straighten up! It's worth it though to have everything lovely and tidy - just the lawns to do tomorrow (again!).
