You're very kind, Sandra, for making me smile too, lol :)

. . and thank you Dan, Jaykaty and Denise for popping in too!

Thank you Sheila . . . good choice! Our Amelanchier took a while to grow well, and I belatedly learnt that they like copious amounts of water when young. Shouldn't be a problem in our climate, but worth knowing :)

Such like very colours but I particularly like the ones I n Photo 3.
Everything down here seems to be 2/3 weeks behind this year for some unexplained reason!

Thanks Chris - let's hope you catch up soon.

Oooh Karen - how kind! Yes, I enthusiastically potted up my new Olive tree yesterday, and then realised that I hadn't pruned it; maybe that's good though - I'll leave it to settle for now, then shape it later :) x

That's a lovely Omphalodes - a lot lighter than some.

Thanks Sue - I love it - but I think most things in my pics look a bit paler than they really are.

Sheila my message was such a muddle and I do apologise! My I pad uses predictive text and is driving me mad!
I really wanted to say how much I liked the pretty colours and my favourite mixture was in photo 3! No blossom yet on our Alemanchier so to see yours looking so lovely is such a treat.

No worries Chris, but thank you for explaining. The combo in pic 3 is pure chance . . . the Hellebore foetidus just decided to seed itself there!

Blossom is one of my favourite things, so it's delightful to see the Amelanchier blossoming 'just in time' as we'll be off to the Algarve "directly" (honestly, the computer won't let me spell directly in Cornish, without the "i" lol!)

Just came across your blog Sheila. So pretty and cheerful. I am jealous how beautiful your Cornus controversa is. I will dig out mine tomorrow and replant it. I have it for 10 years and it has done nothing. It is such beautiful tree but does not like the spot.

Thank you Klahanie, that Cornus is 10 years old too!
