Sunday morning seaside stroll

Thank You! These shore plants have adapted to a very tough environment. What I am wondering is how that wind farm is adapting to the salty corrosive environment it has been planted in?

A lovely walk for you both,on such a nice sunny morning Shirley,and I also didn't realise how many plants can survive in such a harsh salty environment..I didn't know you could see the Isle of Wight on a clear day either, so thank you for both a natural History lesson,and a Geography one too !Lol.x

It's a different beach to here and unusual to see all the plants too.
It must be lovely to see the Isle of Wight and probably is just a ferry ride for you to visit there.
I have been there once and loved it.

I had a lovely walk along the sea front on Sunday with my daughter we are lucky we are only 20mins drive from a beach but surrounded by hills and forests where we live so best of both worlds 🙂

Klahanie, I had to look up the word Lapidary! Such an interesting subject.

Rose, it's a car drive (about 30 miles) to Portsmouth, then ferry to the island.

Kidsgran, similar to us as we have the South Downs National Park to the North of us and the coast to the South.

We went to the Isle of Wight when the children were young and had friends in Portsmouth, so went on the ferry from there too! I loved it there!

Rose, I always think parts of it are stuck in a time warp ... in a good way!
