Don’t know if anyone remembers our daughter and her boyfriends ragdoll kitten from way back in 2012, Coco he’s called :-) this was him back in 2012 at 8 or 9 weeks old.

And this is him today, huge cat almost like a small dog weighs over a stone now which is quite normal for his breed, you wouldn’t want to carry him for to long that’s for sure!!

Anyway they decided it was time for a new addition so this is Gizmo another ragdoll but this time a chocolate mitted lynx, think that’s right, and granny got to visit today :-)
Bit of climbing

And of course lots of playing :-)

That’s it I’m wacked lol.

Don’t think Coco knows quite what to make of him, he’s being so good and gentle though.

Yet again I forgot to take my big handbag ;-)

You need to grow some catnip for them. Nothing gets my guys going more than a big leaf of it on a string.

How cute can you get?

16 May, 2014

They are gorgeous - and very spoilt I would think - I don't have a cat now 'but I have a dog who is also very spoilt - Jane

Coco has become very handsome !

Can't believe you forgot the handbag again!
Isn't he gorgeous. I've no doubt Coco will keep him in check soon enough :)

Goreous addition Simbad.

Oooo yes I'll have to do that Wylie Coco loves his catnip toys :-), its strange how some go mad for it and others just don't seem to bother, our cat never bothers at all.
Thanks Linda he's got them twisted round his little finger already ;-)
Oh yes Jane very spoilt lol, I don't have a dog now but we still have our cat who's curled up on my knee as I type this :-)
Me to Alex they're so cute aren't they :-)
Coco is a real character Hywel his favourite toy is a ball of tin foil, strange cat lol, and he's even figured out how to open the drawer where its kept :-)
Lol Scottish, they've been awake since 4 this morning apparently playing, Coco has given Gizmo a gentle tap when he laid on his cover on the bed :-)
Thanks Gralew trying to think of a reason to go round again today for another cuddle lol.

Lovely blog. Thanks for sharing.
My Persian's hip keeps sagging about every 3 days. No pain. She just drags her leg. I cant figure out
whats wrong. She is 14. Suppose its olde age again.

Best get it checked out Diane.

I didn't know you could get colour point ragdolls - isn't she absolutely the last word? Do you need a reason Simbad? Just go for it.

17 May, 2014

wow there lovley thow im a dog persen myself I still like all animals .

18 May, 2014

Thanks Diane :-) aaaw hope you find the problem with your persian it's awful when our pets are unwell isn't it.
No I didn't either Stera, we have a birman which was bought for our daughter but when she left home she didn't think it was fair to take him as even though he was bought for her I seem to be his chosen human lol, she really missed him and so chose a ragdoll as they are very similar in colouring etc you seem to be able to get similar colourings in both breeds Coco's a seal point just like our birman but ours isn't as dark.
I've been round again today ;-), he's really settled down well Coco's playing a bit rough though, gets the kitten in a head lock and kicks with his back legs they keep trying to leave them like the breeder said but Coco's so big its a bit scary.
Thanks Nosey :-)

18 May, 2014

your welcome simbad . what you say about the headlock and kicking with the back legs is a very typical cat play based on what they do when there serious ie mock fighting . if a leopard attacks a human they tend to grab your neck/face area with there teeth and front poars and dissimbowel you with there back paws . im sure you wanted to know that lol x .

18 May, 2014

Lol Noseypotter very interesting, hope Coco's just playing then! obviously the kittens not scared though as as soon as they're separated he just goes straight back purring!!!, thinking about it our cat does the same thing sometimes when he's in a mood and you tickle his tummy lol, they have some strength in those back legs :-)

19 May, 2014

Gosh Simbad, a birman as well --no prizes for guessing what sort of cats turn your family on! I love looking at them but not sure I'd want to be responsible for all that brushing - ours is bad enough and she's just rather fluffy.
The kicking headlock - yes, Rowan will do that with anything - she was picking on my apron hanging on the back of a chair yesterday. I don't mind except when she tries it on me...

19 May, 2014

It's those blue eyes Stera;-), neither breed actually takes a lot of brushing being semi long haired their fur doesn't knot like Persians, once a week is fine, Symba should have been a girl though he loves pampering, only has to see me with the brush and nail clippers and he's flat on his back purring , unlike Coco who hates it,two man job cutting his nails.
Lol that apron must have done something to annoy Rowan :-), its the pouncing on the bare feet I hate aaaargh.

19 May, 2014

play when youn g nearly always replicates real fighting but they keep them claws shiethed which is good .

20 May, 2014

Isn't Gizmo beautiful. He must be very time consuming- every time you put photos up you will get a million replies!

20 May, 2014

So perfect Simbad...Gizmo is a little beauty, as is Coco...My first cat was called Coco, i had him as a child....:>)

23 May, 2014

Thanks Moti :-), they're best of friends now which is great, Gizmo's just got to learn to eat his food quicker as if he leaves any Coco's in there like a shot lol, he did try the other day though and Gizmo pushed him out the way!!!

25 May, 2014

I wouldn't bother with a handbag, just pick the little one up when they're not looking Simbad, they are absolutely gorgeous both of them, Gizmo is a patient fellow isn't he, so pleased he's taken to Coco, my son and daughter-in-law got a new little one 2wks ago, I met her last week but she is a scaredy little thing and wouldn't allow me to cuddle her, another british blue but all one colour unlike Caspar and Misty, the older cats went all stroppy and refused to be in the house with the little kitten, I believe they are now back in for their meals but still running away from Lia, think its only the wet weather that forced them back indoors...

25 May, 2014

He's very vocal Lincs think he'd give the game away lol.
I was a bit worried about them getting on as Cocos been to our house and totally terrorised our poor Symba,so he's barred!!, definitely no chance of us getting another cat think Symba would have a coronary lol, he's 12 now and to used to being the only one.
Hope your sons kitten gets accepted by Casper and Misty very soon :-)

18 Jun, 2014

Thanks Amy, they're great friends already, daughter sent me a picture of Coco giving him a very thorough clean just a few minutes ago lol.
The weight of Coco Amy I might just give the game away when I start walking with a stoop lol.
Think eldest daughter will probably be on holiday duties, you know what a wimp our Symba is 1 cat a breakdown 2 a heart attack!!!! lol, we went round for dinner on Sunday and Gizmo only had eyes for Rob slept on his knee the whole time lol.

Ah that's a sweet picture Kathy Rob has obviously got what it takes to send Gizmo to sleep , Yes I thinks it's best if Symba is kept out of the way it could be fisti-cuffs on the sofa Lol ...

So beautiful love this breed, do miss our cats, but not the allergies!!

29 Apr, 2015
