After purchase, Sarracenia November 2016, Darlingtonia April 2017, straight from the grower’s greenhouse.End October 2017, in pic in same place, but pictured in my pond.

Since 2020, I leave the most hardy in the pond overwinter, on the floating polystyrene raft. I only take them out to
weed/repot in Spring. This photo taken 18 Feb 2022 waiting for the weather to improve before removing the pots to tidy them up.
This is the pond behind which the storks are situated.
As Darlingtonia does not like hot sun, it had its own tub stood in the shade, north facing, unprotected outside. Likes it there.

No. SBG, not seen Wacks Nursery before just looking them up. Matthew Soper's Hampshire Carniverous Plants, 20mins from me, is from where I have bought my plants. No room for any more unfortunately.

They really are intriguing Siris. They must attract all the midges and gnats in a summer evening..

Yes, there can be a fog of midges etc around them in summer. They do emit an odour, OH says of cat pee.

Haha, really? Better than rotting meat!
