What a cheering blog! I'm out in the garden cutting back this morning so will see what is appearing - that is, if the rain stays off...

SBG, Not so Spring like today. Went to the allotment to see if storm Eunice did much damage, like a war zone there. Three panels blown off my green house,(double skin polycarbonate) walked around the site nowhere to be seen amongst the broken glass, someone's new shed on its side. 122mph wind recorded at the Needles. Isle of Wight not that far from here.

That is so disheartening Siris! It is really strange weather!
We have sw mild air with the severe gales and now it is snowing!
It's very cheery to see all the early spring flowers, but mine are very slow to show their faces!

that is such a pain for you Siris.

Very cheerful collection of pretty spring colour, Sue! You’ve certainly a lot of spring flowers blooming.
I’m sorry to hear of the damage you’ve suffered in the garden due to the storm.

Thank you for your kind words ref my greenhouse, but minor compared to some people who have really suffered.
We had some sleety rain this afternoon, turned quite cold, but despite this tender Anisdontea and scented are still flowering.

It is so lovely to see the spring colours emerging and they never fail to cheer me up. We just need some spring like weather now and I will be even more cheerful - actually I won't because we are having a new kitchen fitted and it is just an awful experience!!!

Lovely to see spring the flowers in you garden Siris, pleased to say I can actually see them today....Its been a terrible week of storms hasn't it, so much damage and heartbreak for some, Franklin passed over this afternoon thank goodness, praying there isn't another one behind it.

I started to walk to the PO today, got to the corner of our road, and couldn't walk into the wind, so strong.

yes spring is on its way. No daffs out in my garden yet and the crocus are only just showing their colours. A nice colour palette in the garden for you to enjoy Siris.
