Been varnishing the woodwork inside, over the last week.

This Echinopsis? Cactus was flowering but fortunately (unfortunately) these spectacular flowers only last a day and a half. It is in a hanging tub.

I moved 2 of the Citrus plants outside but had to leave this but there is no wood near it. It still has about six of the small oranges on it and now is absolultely covered in flowers. The scent is overpowering even with the doors open.

I hope some bees have been able to come in to polinate it as my brushes are beeing (typing error, no pun intended !) used for varnish!

Was it scented? It looks very like the flowers of Selenicereus grandiflorus (Long stems like an Epiphyllum)but I couldn't see the rest of the plant or the size, and most cactus flowers are similar in shape so I guess it could be Echinopsis (ie round and compact). . I will try to post a pic of my S. grandiflorus for comparison if that would help

STERA, a pic would help, thank you. I thought it was a Selenicereus when I originally posted a pic of this Cactus, but Hywel, who is a Cactus specialist suggested Echinopsis. The parent plant, very old, is elongated and cylindrical, the babies around it are round. All have spikes around the body.
