i have no hope,i dont even know half the names in plain old english,i like quizes,please do some easy ones spritzhenry and take pity on me

Of course you can!

Ladybug, just think of a few spring flowers - and see if their names fit. Several of the latin names are actually the same as the common ones we use. :=))

well ive watched strictly and i think id like pamela to win cos she is older than me but can do so much more

gone off matt a bit, kara is incredible but i just admire pamela!
i think kara is the best dancer and im sure matt is very good but pamela as the all-rounder in achieving the most and being so happy and amazing as a role model!
i dont know anything about dancing and i cant do it at all ~ if you thought gavin was shy im 100x worse!

Dottydaisy, I know just what you mean! Before looking on GoY I wrapped Christmas presents, both here and at Mums, hand-delivered local cards (cheapskate that I am!) and did the ironing. Feeling virtuous enough to catch up on here now ... lol!

No, I won't be 'quizzing' any more before Christmas, Dd. I haven't finished wrapping presents, taking 'village' cards round, baking OR the housework, so I've plenty to do this end.

At least I'll keep busy. LOL.

Hywel - I do understand. I've just come back from plodging round the village in my wellies delivering Parish magazines - a half hour job normally - it took over 1.5 hours today!

now plodging is not a word I have heard for ages. We used for walking through puddles though not snow. Typical northeast word. always makes me smile.

it is sort of the sound it makes when wellies 'plodge' in the water.
