Yes,warmer here. Our airport temps were 76f (25C) for June. Inland in the city I would guess around 78-80f (27C. Lows were in the 55f+ (13C) range- for June!.
So,I’m not posting from a heated subtropical paradise..we have mild summers with a few heatwaves.
To give you an idea, the Southeast states averaged over 90F..I think that’s 33C for the rest of the world.
Why my interest in tropicalia is raised by the challenge. One thing I have learned is,try to plant them at a largest size possible. Protect them like baby’s the first two winters…then Amazingly, they start to thrive like a temperate plant. Growing well on modest summer heat when they have a good root system established.

No,not 90f here in town...I meant the Southeast like Florida.
The biggest difference is night time temps. Ours in the SF bay area are around 15C in summer.
In the hot midwest, east, southeast lows are in the 21C to 27C. Hot and humid.
