Update on Delonix regia Bonsai.

From 2 (?) Months ago to today. I will be looking for a nicer pot now.
Third summer for this plant out of what was about 8 seedlings. One was vandalized. THAT one was in ground and I had hopes. Its gone.
The others just faded away in winters cold. These were two..seemed equal. But one has yet to break bud and probably wont.
Like all tropical’s, the longer you can get the through winters,the easier it gets. This one at least has a small chunky trunk.

Human..one you might blame animals..but one that was the largest I found was cut cleanly- like clippers- 3" about ground. City gardening is really a challenge. I now put many extra's of what I have in front in between the more hard to find specimens.

It's looking good and knowing how time consuming Bonsai can be, I really admire your work. Keep it up. I presume the vandalism was from garden pests and not human?
