Its blazing hot out there. 39c..And with a low of 22c,we might have the hottest low we have ever had.
San Francisco at 35c with hottest part of the day to come. That too would be a record.
Inland 40 miles? 47c. Dangerously hot.
I watered,put mulch around my little tropical Guava’s. When we get this hot,humidity drops,sucking all moisture out of plants not built for that-lol.
I looked,humidity is 20%. It will go lower.
Luckily enough,this is part of a 4 day event and then normal summer temps return. But..all time. wow.
Some of my epiphyte plants. The blue is a Pachyveria.

Its now 104.2 or 40C. If that's right,this is the hottest day ever recorded for my city.

Linda,San Francisco,the city of cool fog,set an all time heat record with 106F or about 41C.
Nobody here can believe it.
Waddy,its a dry heat-lol. UV index is near 9 out of 10.

I know this heat is insane! It's been hotter longer here in Southern California. At least, it's not as humid there as down here in San Diego. So many areas around here have been in the 112ºF (44.4ºC) range, and that's not in the desert, either.
I hope your plants don't suffer too badly! Mine have been suffering; however, I think they will recover. We'll be getting into the the very hot, dry Santa Ana season by the end of September. UGH!
