In very mild sunny weather..planting seeds and cuttings in pots

Its just so not winter like- another day of 19C temps and it might go up 2 more…with sunshine and warmish winds.

I planted Hawaiian Papaya seeds. They are supposed to be faster growers then the big Mexican Papayas. Although the Mexican are hardier I’m told. Mine lasted three years and last years cold and very wet winter did it in. This winter is no problem.

I was given Plumeria cuttings..one just laying on a table in the house for 2 weeks- sent out roots!..so now planted. I tel you,its like that cutting has a mind. AND it was a cutting missing the tip. Healed over though.

I hope January has a few big storms. Even the best yards need some summer water here and mine might not use a lot at one time..but smaller portions do it great.

Good luck with your cuttings and seeds. I hope you get some rain in January.
Are you safe from the fire ?

Thank you Hywel,we are all safe here. We need the rains to start again. So far driest December on record.
Cuttings and seed pots look nice lined up on a sunny windowsill.
Hopefully we will have the water for them.
