Fuchsias

Hi everybody. Just thought I’d have a quick whizz round this evening and get some fuchsia pics. Not brilliant photography as I was too idle to take the tripod and my ageing hands are beginning to shake a bit!
I’ve forgotten the name of this on and the next one – forgot to label them last autumn.
Benisser
Dollar Princess
Paula Jane
Winston Churchill should be here as well – I uploaded it twice but it hasn’t appeared!

Gorgeous Stera! Do you overwinter them?

Not many of the ones in the ground are out yet - these were all overwintered in the conservatory so got a head start. Dollar Princess is the first to open in the ground and Lena won't be long - just needs a bit of sun, don't we all?

Your fuchsias are doing well. They're looking very colourful and well fed ! The second one is Swingtime. I can't tell the first one. So many look similar.
Good pics despite your shakey hands :o)

You have some nice fuchsias, i have a few and i dont know the names of them either, think over the time i've had them labels get lost.

Yes yes! Campanella and Swingtime, that's right. thank you Hywel Numbty and Bloomer. We are a lot further south than you Sandra, so its not surprising things are a bit earlier here - but still later than in normal years.
Put some photos on when they come out Clarice - maybe somebody will be able to identify them for you.
Thank you everyone for your comments.

Sorry for being so late to getting round to reading your blog, Steragram, not spend a great deal of time on the computer lately.
I've added this blog to my Favourites as I love your Fuchsias. I had 5 plants of 'La Campanella' in my hanging baskets on the balcony a couple of years ago but they were all killed during the terrible frosts we had in the 2009/2010 winter. Many others also died during that winter. I also had 1 plant of 'Swingtime' & 5 of 'Dollar Princess' as well as many others. ;-((
your plants look fabulous & no camera shake! :-)) The hot weather you asked for has begun today & will continue through the rest of the week.

Do you want any cuttings? Not the best time of year but worth a try. I've got a young Dollar Princess plant you can have if you like - if I can find a suitable box to pack it in!
