I automatically hit the like before I comment, I've had to apologize a couple of times when I realised a like was not appropiate and once you hit that box you cannot undo it, a comment can be edited for a few minutes giving one the chance to make changes, correct spelling and suchlike.....

and of course one can neer rememebr who wrote the blog tht one enjoyed, so that one can go back and Like it ...

Hi Sue, I think we all do that at times, I know I do, Ilook at blogs or photo's, and just forget to click the like button, Derek.

:-) if one left a comment, any other comments will bring the blog or pic back to our inboxes, so there might be a chance to Like it then. But I've found I'd left several comments on a blog before I realised that I hadn't yet Liked it!

Ditto..! I have often gone back weeks later,and added a like..or on some blogs and photo's that I have previously missed..which happens often..no worries,we get there eventually ;o)

Well thanks, I feel a bit better about it now. Will try to do mend my ways. Perhaps everyone will realise we probably did like the blog if we bothered to leave a comment anyway?

I think the comments are more important - one gets "repeats" from other commenters, but not if one only Likes it!

That's true, but its nice to Like if you enjoyed it but haven't really got a comment to make.

indeed, Stera - I often just put a "oh, nice" or something similar if I can't think of anything else to say - doesn't advance the thread conversation much, but it keeps me in the loop.
