I love it when the first flowers arrive on the clematis, so I thought I would share them with you.
This is Rebecca much deeper red than this photo shows in her 2nd yr.
and here is Gillian Blades white with the merest suggestion of mauve along the underside this was bought this yr £5 from Morrisons. You can also see the fairy I had as a Christmas gift sitting on a log alongside the caenotis.
Doesn`t take much to make me happy, but then I`m daft as a brush.

Very nice Stroller. Your Rebecca is just beating mine. I can see the red on it, another day or so and it will be out. Gillian Blades is lovely, and the fairy.

Yep i agree,
its smashing when your walking around the garden and then you see it "that flower/shrub" that you didnt see yesterday has arrived in all its glory.

Yours are well ahead of mine Stroller, I've only got my Montana flowering at the moment, but still lots to look forward to. Great pictures by the way.

I know that feeling Stroller and if you're daft then so am I, every day I get even more excited as my roses are opening, it was so bad last year because of the rain so I'm willing them to have a good year, lol......

Its so nice to see other folk's clematis as there are none in our garden. But being outside in the sunshine, with all the green and the flowers - how could anyone not smile? Aren't we all lucky to be made so happy by small things?

I must be as daft as a brush too lol because that sort of thing makes me very happy :o)
I'm glad your clematises are doing well.
