I can’t honestly remember when we put this Bug Hut on the fence, but it was a lonnnnnnnnnng time ago. Finally someone has had some fun and use from it! We don’t often see Bluetits but they are so dinky and colourful!

I think this one thinks he’s at the gym, he was pulling at least two of the sticks, as far out as possible without falling off.

chin ups. they are so amusing. I suspect insect hunting was the aim.

They are adorable aren't they? Hanging upside-down to get the spiders living under the overhang of the pillars and even managing to hang on somehow to the PVC window-frames to get the mini-spiders that live in the corners of the window. Shows how often my windows get cleaned!

I'm guilty of the 'oh no, far too many webs on the windows, no cleaning allowed'. Even better idea is to grow a Montana Clematis anywhere near a window - it decides to grow all the way round the frame and saves you another boring
job. Result!

We have a pair of coal tits in the garden at the minute as well but they are far too quick to photograph, they never stay still long enough!

So comical to watch aren't they, you have provided him with a very handy supply of nesting material, lol..I removed a massive pampas grass earlier on of this year, luckily I had already planted a new one so I will still be supplying the usual for next springtime....
