I thought i was going to have a perfect week as my hubby has gone to play golf in Scotland,so i could do ANYTHING!!…i fancied ,time to myself, read,go for walks, paint,or GARDENING.But!!!! Monday i went to work in the shop for 5 hours and Mary [the boss] asked if i would help her out by staying a little longer so i stayed the full day………Tuesday morning my daughter asked if i would babysit for her while she went for her check up at the doctors….so the mornings gone, afternoon we go shopping..I think i will get some plants and bulbs….But no!! children crying tried and hungry we come home, after they leave [God Bless um] i sit down for some ME time…But no!! the man we asked to put us a new TV in the bedroom has turned up he asked if he could start now and finish….TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Running out of days.Time now for a nice cup of tea !!! Is that the door bell?????

Glad you managed to fit in a bit of GoY time though. Got to get your priorities right! It's lovely to have family close by but sometimes we can be a bit too handy. All I seem to have done this week is babysit, water people's plants (it WOULD be sunny and dry wouldn't it!) and do a 10 mile round trip twice a day to feed and medicate cats. Ah well it's nice to be useful !

I know the feeling I don't work at mo coz of my ops but then there's physio and the Dr and the dentist just recently. A couple of other appmt's too then when I do plan some garden time it's my nephews who turn up after advice money chocolate you name it.They can be useful coz I can't lift so I get my garden tubs put on the table or the wall. Hubby wasn't happy when I asked him to put compost in another load of pots yest but I got another 100 bulbs delivered this morning.

It's going well, I think! First 'real' week this week, &a lot of IT glitches, which could hold us up, but I think I'm going to love it!

I know the feeling Swanky. I took a week off work earlier in the summer - to read, garden and get caught up with housework - Spent it ferrying my children to friends' houses and having their friends round, looking after my hubby's elderly relatives, etc etc- I was glad to get back to work for a rest!!!! Never enough hours in the day....
