Yes I saw this on a leaflet through the door today. Trouble is, I went to the GC yesterday and spent an enormous sum on bird paraphenalia - nearly as much as our weekly shop!!! It did include a bargain bird table though, which I'm not able to hide but I'm not telling OH about all the other stuff! LOL

Oooh you wicked spendthrift Lily, how could you! But I do agree with salting away some things, poor dears would suffer a heart attack if they knew the half lol!

thats a difficult one to overcome DD..when I bought my Sweet Tea heuchera I enthused about the size of the plant and said I could divide it in four..so it wasnt really £8.99 for one plant but really less than £2.50 for each. But I cant beat the bargains you got the other day. An astonishing haul! And what a stunning bench..he obviously lets you open your purse occasionally lol!

Lol Dottydaisy I m glad I am on my own, could nt you get one of his friends to invent a day out some where else at the time of you visiting the G C or even relatives, if not I would get a member of staff to distract him while I got what I wanted, I m sure they would oblige when they think they are getting proffits from your spending hehe.

Well I obviously had to own up to the bird table and said 'but it was only £30" (true) to which he replied "ONLY!". Just goes to show what he knows about the price of things. Anyway the birdies will eat a lovely mixed menu from their new additional feeders and he won't even notice that there are more of them than before! LOL........Still not sure where that bargain bird table can go though!
