Lovely photos, certainly looks like summer still in your garden. Hope the frosts keep away for a while yet so you can continue to enjoy them :)

How lucky you are to have things still in bloom. The only thing here is a tiny little alpine speedwell with a couple of blooms on it that are all of 1/8" in size. Lovely to see your flowers Toto....thanks for posting.

Lovely photo`s Toto, I have a few flowers and some smashing roses still, it helps to see them on these damp, dreary days. I much prefer cold days and dry paths, one can always add a sweater,lol..

Wonderful pictures, Toto! It's very unusual for me to see these plants flowering in December...

I'll go with late too! I've still got surfinia petunias flowering on the balcony outside - they were 2 feet long and trailing, but the wind ripped them to shreds, but now I see new, smaller flowers growing very close to the roots of the plants, presumably growing on the torn off ends. And the Euryops is in full yellow daisied flower...

Thank you for your comments Jacque, Uma and Bamboo.

Well Toto.....your very lucky....but watch the snow coming your way by the end of the week.....

I've got lots of strange things flowering at the mo, Arabis is one of them. Funny to see your Hypericum now :-)))
14 Dec, 2009
Arabis, good lord, wouldn't have expected that - now that is early, not late in my book. Had a Christmas card from a relative in Canada - they have had no snow during the whole of November, when they would normally have several feet of it by now, in Toronto. And some people say global warming isn't happening...

I haven't ordered any snow!

Quite amazing, isn’t it? Like Bamboo I have a flowers on a potted petunia. Also, fuschias (Snowcap) and I even have a couple of carnations and pelargonium flowers, either open or in the process of opening. Add these to a large number of half-opened roses and a score of buds. I also counted over 30 blooms on my Iceberg rose this morning. It always blooms late and I have come to expect a solitary flower open on Christmas Day but to have this many in really mid-December is exceptional.

No snow ordered here either Toto but looks like we ll get some Thursday / Friday that ll put the blooms to the test. Lovely to see such things in December as long as they dont get used to waiting till now to flower ..

Even we in the darkest south are expecting snow by the end of the week. I reckon it must be a free offer, you know like a mail shot, just to get our interest going so they can sell us loads of it. I can tell you one thing; I won't be buying.
16 Dec, 2009
Yay, we have snow here in West London, toto! Hasn't settled properly though, but there's gonna be more tomorrow and worse on Friday, so they say...
16 Dec, 2009
We had snow this afternoon and it even settled for a short time but fortunately it turned to rain and it has now disappeared.
16 Dec, 2009
Just realised where you live - I think you're for it tomorrow and especially Friday (so are we here, but you're gonna be worse, surely)
16 Dec, 2009
Not sure but hoping it misses us. We live in a strange place as far as weather goes. All around seem to have slightly different weather to us. Apparently it's something to do with the local rivers.
16 Dec, 2009
If you have a few rivers around and about, that means you'll be slightly warmer, so a bit of a microclimate, lucky for you.

Good question.....I'll say late! I've still got Lavatera, Gaura, Wallflower and one rose (Rhapsody in Blue) in flower. Not for much longer though...the forecast for Southampton isn't looking good for the rest of the week....minus temps at night and strong chance of snow next Thursday/Friday.
