signs of spring..

managed to get out and check out the garden today.. at last.
opened my mini greenhouse and coldframe to water the plants and found it was actualy quite warm inside for a change.
most things are doing ok, think i,ve only lost about 5% of things I stored over winter.
plenty of new growth showing on somethings too.
Daffs and tulips are sprouting up..
as are the buds on my Acer..
and on my clematis which will be trimmed shortly..
Still some colour living despite the terrible frosts..
all in all it,s not looking too bad considering..
great to get out for a wee while.

It's all looking very healthy . . . my Clematis all need 'training' along the wires . . . husband doesn't know it yet but he's got to tighten the wires up when I've disentangled the Clematis ! : o )

isnt it great to see new growth user... ive seen quite alot to in mine, must check my clematis, ive 5 now and do hope they are ok :o)

Thanks everyone..
all except one of my clematis are shooting out, so not too bad there.
Hopefully thats the worst of the weather over with now apart from a few more frosts and we can get things growing again. now got a water butt so can save all the rainwater we,ll get now..lol.
