Feet up!

Totally exhausted! OH started on putting up the greenhouse, this involved getting rid of a ‘Thug’ aka Russian Vine. It’s only been in a year, but couldn’t believe the depth of the roots and how far it had grown!!
We’ve also had two Buddliea which were in VERY large pots out of their pots and sunk them into the ground.
The area is now clear and ready for the base (latest pics to follow later)
I’ve also started taking cutting from the ‘named’ fuchsias. I’ve had the basket and soforth flowering for just about 4 months now, which I think is pretty good going. Hopefully, if the cuttings take, there will be an evn better display next year.
Thank you to those of you who replied to my request for Holiday reviews on Lanzarote. I’ve now had a lovely hot shower and I’m now sat with a glass of wine and feet up ready to do a spot more research before we make our mind up where to go.
Enjoy the week ahead, hopefully with some good weather, fingers crossed :)

I do hope we do get some good weather Waddy, I am pleased my hubby is going back to work, I know that sounds a bit mean but we`ve been so busy with jobs around the house I haven`t had a lot of spare time for my garden, lol, enjoy researching and making your holiday plans....

Good luck with the fuchsia cuttings. I find them much harder to root at this time of year than in the spring so try to keep the plants, which means there's not much room for me in the conservatory in the winter! You must be looking forward very much to the new greenhouse.
Hope you have a good holiday.
