Yippee, I've got grubby fingernails!

Lucky thing! I share that sentiment. I'm only going into the garden to feed the birds and clear away the mess they are making. My fingernails are itching to get grubby! lol

I think you are what is known as "easy to please", Waddy, or, in other words, "a cheap date". :o))) (What other Goys will recognise and identify as "classy".) My fingernails aren't just grubby after today, they are positively CAKED. Wonderful, isn't it?

Wonderfull new Waddy. lets hopethe weather stay's a bit longer for you to get even more grubby :0)

My fingernails won't be grubby for a good many weeks yet lol, but it is nice to see the days getting lighter :o)

not fair! not fair! not fair! i'd love to get grubby nails but at work and it s dark by the time I get home. weekend looks like its going to be wet and very windy so probably little to get done outside. Greenhouse is full of plants but cant get them out yet.

Good for you ladies! My fingernails aren't grubby today, sad to say, but it has been blowing a gale all day here. However, I did enjoy seeing some sunshine. OH and I went to Montrose and we saw the snow on the hilltops...lovely!

Oh I can understand that feeling, I also managed a while in the garden yesterday and today, it set me up for the indoor jobs, I also gave in to temptation and have ordered a pack of ten Hellebores from Amazon, £20 with the postage, I just could not resist any longer.
Nearly forgot to say I excelled myself and wore my gloves, lol......

Mine got blissfully dirty this afternoon for the first time since October, and I caught up with some things that should have been done in the Autumn (only in one bed, but its a start...) And yesterday I picked up a miniature buddleja in a sale. And Homebase were giving away those little bushes with orange berries whose name I forget (something in the solanum family I think) - left over from Christmas and roots sticking out of the bottom of the pots.
And the big moment? Finding an Iris Reticulata that I'd forgotten planting. What a joy!

Lucky you Waddy, far too wet here and blowing a gale. Lots of cleaning up to do from snow (had to let the dogs use the back garden ) Hopefully nice day tomorrow:-)

Sun's already up, so I'm heading for the wellies and the weeding fork!

Ladies (and gents) it's nice to know so many of you have managed to 'get out there' It's been very windy here too, but you mustn't let that put you off, it puts colour in you cheeks and helps to lift the winter blues. I know it's still very wet, but I bet you could all find something to do...go on, you won't regret it.
