It crossed my mind, that after seeing by blog on the ‘Goodbye Weedy Lawn’, some of you might be under the impression I had been neglecting the rest of my ‘little acre’
Not a bit of it, and just to prove it, here are some pictures, in no particular order.
This is a trailing succulent, but I’ve no idea what it’s called.
These Lupins were newly planted this year, and are doing well.
London Pride looking very pretty.
This Pelargonium was saved at the end of last year from a mixed planted basket
Mixed Bedding Geraniums.
Baskets and Mangers beginning to fill out.
Tomatoes grown from seed just starting to set first trusses.
This fooled the Hoverfly, did it fool you?
Pink Poppies
Hosta
I love the faces on these pansies, which have been flowering all winter, bless them.
These Violas have been putting on a great show all spring.
The view up the garden from the patio.
Thanks for looking…enjoy your own garden, large or small.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. If the weather is kind to us, I'll be out there again tomorrow :) I also like the trailing succulent, obviously, but can't remember what it's called.
Bornagain; I thought the poppies were much deeper when I planted them, but I love their fragile pink petals.

Beautiful display of colour. See what you mean about the poppies, think mine were mixed colours last year so maybe you will get a different colour popping up later on. Well hope you do, it is disappointing when they are not the colour you were expecting, nevertheless these are very pretty. They will keep you going until others creep up on you. lol.

Certainly doesn't look like a neglected garden to me - it looks lovely and your hanging baskets and everlasting pansies are stunning, such a lot of colour.

I have some poppies I'd forgotten about and they're such a fantastic subtle plummy colour, they mustn't have flowered last year:-))
