Hi Gilli
John Craven does a programme about farming and the countryside every Sunday morning and has been doing it for so long I can't think it will be the same although I do like Julia Bradbury! She does televised climbs/walks following in the footsteps of Alfred Wainwright who was a fell walker and author particularly books of the Lake District.
This is from the BBC
A Coast to Coast Walk was devised by Wainwright himself, and stretches across 190 miles from St Bees Head on the west coast to Robin Hood's Bay on the east, passing through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and North York Moors.

Eric Robson filming with Julia Bradbury at St. Bees lighthouse for her new series on the Wainwright Coast to Coast Walk. The programmes will be shown on BBC4 and BBC2 in the spring of 2009. Julia Bradbury and Eric Robson

Julia moves from Wainwright Walks on the Lakeland Fells to tackling the Coast to Coast

Following two successful series of Wainwright Walks, Skyworks Production Company have been asked by the BBC to produce a series, again fronted by Julia Bradbury, about AW’s classic walk of the Coast to Coast from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay.

Yes Gilli, we're talking TV here. She also co-presents Watchdog, a consumer affairs programme and frolics on Rough Guides, a travel programme as well as the others mentioned above.

~just had my Countryfile magazine delivered and there is a stop press stating they are moving the Sunday programme to the evening and in addition to Julia Bradbury ,Matt Baker of Blue Peter will be presenting.
John Craven will still be involved but not as much.
It does not say what time it will be screened~hopefully not too early!
