A house for the box hedge, the snow still found its way underneath.

I couldn’t resist putting in the snow Amaryllis." Al Fresco"

The wind was unbelievable in the fourth storm. more wind than snow. Another two in the forecast.

The Viburnums reveal themselves for a brief moment.

Just beautiful! Bet it's cold!

I agree with everyone Posy, bbbbeautiful, but cold!! I wouldn't mind having a walk in this though....would I need snow shoes? I love your house there all snuggled down and keeping you warm and cosy, I can imagine you painting away the winter days or quilting. My fave pic is the showing the side of the barn, fab colours and a real
New England atmosphere.

Yes, you would need snow shoes. It has been horribly cold, teens and below, and another two weeks coming up with three more snows... It's like playing Dodge ball on the roads or stay inside. I do like to take pics of the storms, but it very cold.

I will try to add a second snow to this blog.

Thanks Posy - the second snow is even more beautiful. I would like to frame the third from the end! Added to favourites . . .

Very lovely. My favourite is same as Sheila's - the one with the pink sky.

Wells I'd missed these fantastic photo's, they are picture postcard scenes, so easy to sit here and admire whilst looking out at my own garden but I guess I'm glad they are not my part of the world, its always a novelty when we have a blanket of snow but now I soon wish it away, think I'm getting old, lol....

thanks, it was absolutely beautiful. Day after day. Naturally, some people dislike snow but I love to see it fall. Nothing like a big snowstorm. It does make for all sorts of problems, but to sit and watch from a warm spot, what bliss. Now it's going and the uglies are with it so wishing for lots of rain and warm sun to take it away. We still have a lot. Not as much as Boston, MA. They had nine feet and set the all time recorded record. So on to Spring...
