Follow me to the RADISH PATCH....

Well, in my previous blog I posted these two pictures, asking if anyone knew what the large-leaved plant was as it was taking over the pot. I got my answer via OliveOil and I haven’t stopped laughing since…

Ta da…..my crop from my ‘mystery’ plant….TWO RADISH!

Hubby loves radishes but he’s eyeing these two specimens rather suspiciously….I wonder will he eat them? lol I did plant some radish seed in a trough container very early on but they appeared to do nothing. Somehow this plant was hardy enough to survive in the potting soil I reused for this pot.

I don’t think I can claim any prize for my crop but it’s been worth it just for the smiles and laughter tonight :)

I am growing some Chinese Radish. They are long and white. I bought the seeds in Mauritius as I use them in a recipe I do and they are expensive to buy....over £1.00 each.

The grass is looking wonderful and lush after it's first cut. It was a bit long so needs another cut this weekend to tidy it and we need to get some grass clippers so we can do the edges neatly. But, I am impressed with the quality of the turf they have put down...and the smell of newly mowed grass....heavenly :) Thanks for asking, Nana d.

San...I don't think you'd have enjoyed my two radish! But I may have a proper go if I can find the seeds in my mess of a garage!!
