RHS Rosemoor Gardens in early March.

The gardens are looking very pretty indeed at the moment and are also quiet and peaceful.

We went to the alpine house first which had lots of Spring colour.

The next photos were taken in the area called The Winter Garden. It is worth a visit throughout the winter months but is looking lovely at the moment with its pristine lawn, heathers and hellebores.

There are numerous water features at Rosemoor. A gentle waterfall leads to a beautiful lake surrounded by trees.

This is not a photo of the lake, it is a quiet pool in the waterfall.

Rosemoor is very special. Little bulbs are peeping through and early rhododendrons are in flower. Every visit there is inspiring.

How lovely the garden looks in the sun. Like the Ipheon in the pots in the alpine house, a great backdrop display, and those other lovely alpines looking splendid.
I was thinking of getting some of that terracotta rope twist edging to finish of the edge of our small patio. Having seen it in one of the photos, I must get some it finishes an edge off beautifully.

I don't know how I didn't see this before. Very nice photos.
I am determined to get to Rosemoor one day but not able to get down to Devon at moment as our little dog Paddy is getting old and Devon is a bit far to take him. But, one day!

Hope you do get to Rosemoor one day. They are changing the gardens and improving them all the time.
Meanwhile, Paddy will be much happier closer to home.
