Please come on another outing with me!

We have now had three days in a row of glorious sunshine and as we seem to have had weeks of rain, we have made the most of it!

Today we went to RHS Rosemoor which is a short drive from where we live. We go there often throughout the year. It still looks beautiful in the winter months.

Here are some of the photos I took.

They always have a winter sculpture exhibition and I took pictures of my favourites. However, I would still prefer to see a real snowdrop, bluebell or deer but the creators of all the sculptures dotted around the grounds are so very talented.

It is a lovely place to be able to visit so easily. Today it was especially beautiful after a frosty start to the day.

Thanks for joining me…….I promise to stay at home tomorrow and get the duster out!!

Agree, the sculptures are beautiful. You are fortunate to live so near to such a good garden.

My motto is,two days dust is as easy to shift as one..take note my friend :o) xx

Thanks for the invite Chris ! As usual I have just found this! Hahaa!
I loved all the pictures , especially the deer ! And I totally agree with Sandra ! Dusting can always be done on a wet day ! xx

Hello Rose, glad you liked the photos.
Trouble is, I am not keen on dusting on wet days either!! It is very wild and windy here today. Hope it is better with you.

I'm pleased to read both you and Rose are on my wavelength re the dusting ! Lol x

Its the same here Chris, very windy but no rain at the moment !
And Sandra and Chris, I am ashamed to say that we had company yesterday and could see the dust on the tv table!
That is the only trouble when the sun shines ! Hahaa!

The low winter sunshine can be very mean when it comes to seeing dust! The only advantage of a dull, grey day is that you don't notice it!!!

Enjoyed your visit to Rosemoor. I liked the sculptures as well as all the rest. I have visited Rosemoor but it was back in the late 80's.

Feverfew, we went there in the eighties too, when we first moved to Devon. It was early days in its development but I remember liking it from the start.
In fact, Rosemoor has almost grown too much now. The restaurant is not as nice as it used to be as it has to cater for such large numbers these days.

Went to Rosemoor last year and it was my intention to return this year but unfortunately couldn’t manage it. it really is a place worth visiting and will hopefully be looking to visit again in the spring for the start of the New Years blooms

Dave's, I hope you get there next year. In the spring there is some very pretty blossom especially in the 'old' part called Lady Anne's garden. You get to it by going through a short tunnel near the lake.
