Mr Mcgregor’s garden at Rosemoor!!

It is just a small part of the vegetable and fruit garden. They are trying to do more for children I think.

Thank you for these lovely comments. I do have a soft spot for all things connected with Beatrix Potter so was pleased to see what Rosemoor had done.

I have a statue of Peter Rabbit and Tom Kitten in my garden, I painted them many years ago but it has worne off and now they look grey, but I still like them :)

Yes, thank you. Reminds me of the many times I read the story to my boys when they were little. Trouble was though, they really thought that our next door neighbour was Mr Mc Gregor. He was a grumpy gardener & even if a tiny bit of a plastic toy fell over the fence, he used to moan.

Hywel aren't you tempted to repaint them? its such a great idea to have something for the children. And are we really ever too old for Peter Rabbit|?

I don't think I'll repaint them, they look better weathered.

Thank you Kate it did make the vegetable garden a little more exciting but even the rows of veg and fruit trees look amazing too!! I never realised that different rows of chard could be quite so interesting!!!
