Had a lovely wander through Rosemoor and came across Mr Mcgegor’s garden from the Peter Rabbit books.I took a few photos of it to show you!
Can you spot Peter’s little blue jacket in this photo?
I think Peter enjoyed the photos but he did look a little bit guilty!!

Thank you for these lovely comments. I do have a soft spot for all things connected with Beatrix Potter so was pleased to see what Rosemoor had done.

Yes, thank you. Reminds me of the many times I read the story to my boys when they were little. Trouble was though, they really thought that our next door neighbour was Mr Mc Gregor. He was a grumpy gardener & even if a tiny bit of a plastic toy fell over the fence, he used to moan.

Hywel I am glad you are still fond of them! They were dear little characters!
Thanks Sandra, you know how I love those stories.
Feverfew that was a shame for your boys - I hope they didn’t lose too many treasures over the fence!!

Hywel aren't you tempted to repaint them? its such a great idea to have something for the children. And are we really ever too old for Peter Rabbit|?

I don't think I'll repaint them, they look better weathered.

How lovely, Chris! It's a really sweet addition to Rosemoor. Anything to get children in through the door so to speak and see this is great isn't it! Really lovely idea. Thanks for sharing your visit with us!

It is just a small part of the vegetable and fruit garden. They are trying to do more for children I think.
