Lulu left a message on the blog "Grand designs", today, saying:-
"LOL, in hospital at the.moment with no tv! A good book but can't read it because my eyes are squiffy after a GA!"
That must mean, having had a general anaesthetic, that you've had surgery of some sort - right? At least something has been done about these stones, and now it's just recovery time. You've kept this one a bit quiet, haven't you, Lu? A very GENTLE and careful hug from me - got to be right for the 3rd!

Ah poor Lulu I will keep my fingers crossed that she recovers soon :(

I did threaten to cry a few tears Val and shed about four tears till I told myself to stop, not sure if I have the energy for a big sob!
jolly painful yes!!! but with the concoction of drugs in my system hardly dare to take another painkiller till bedtime. Am oscillating from feeling bad, to dreadful then my sister makes me laugh and I feel better again for a while.
Dogs are even shut away in the kitchen...oh dear!
Very much looking forward to a boiled egg or two. The hospital made me an omelette, my veggie option and I had a mouthful of plastic cardboard dried eggy omelette, YUK! the only mouthful in 4 days! starving, full of drugs and feeling pretty rough! Did I mention when I was wheeled into theatre the nurse said to me...'ok dear, I see we are taking out you apendix' ! I told her that I was feeling pretty vulnerable and that I was not amused and I made damn sure the surgeons knew what they were doing. They also lost my notes in between theatre and ward., I could right a book. In fact I just might, ha! x

Thank you girls! Wonderful to be home. All I do is sleep and have the odd cup of tomato soup! Dogs have been banned from my bed for making it too dirty and taking up too much room!
