We used to go on holiday to Scarborough when I was a wee girl - Robin Hood Bay...
...maybe my memories are mixed up...but it was a bay...! :)

Great photo`s Yorkie, the hotel looks nice and the gardens are lovely, one of my brothers lives about 5miles away from Scarborough, little place called Cayton, both his daughters are in the same village, we`ve been quite a bit in recent years and I love it around there, some beautiful places to visit.
We bought our bicycle planter from Scripps Garage for our 40th anniversary and I have lots of photo`s of the village and station..
I remember Robin Hoods Bay and also worrying about hubby when we were climbing back up the hill, our little legs complain now don`t they, lol..

Fabulous looking hotel. Convertible love to have that Val.The places we could go with the roof down,next time stand at front of the car to give it more style.

Lovely pictures Val and the hotel looks very nice too, so pleased you had great weather and were able to get out and about, its great to have a hotel with nice grounds to walk in too.We were in Robin Hoods Bay a couple of years ago, its where we went to meet Simon and Clare at the end of their Coast to Coast walk we stayed for three days and walkedu p and down the hill a number of times, a lovely place we keep talking about going back, you can see pictures of Robin hoods Bay on my Coast to Coast blog if you would like to have a peep!

That does look a nice place to stay Yorks, what beautiful grounds they have, love the railway station too, they do look after these old railways well dont they? Hope you feel refreshed.

What a fantastic place Yorkie, my OH used to go to Robin Hood Bay when young, I'll show him your blog. I wonder if you could have been a bit further away from the camera though Yorkie...then we wouldn't have had to see you at all lol:-)

Thanks Terra, you can't believe this was just a month ago , today its pouring with rain and the back and front gardens look like a bomb has dropped, can't believe the mess we have out there.

I especially like the open expanses of lawns and the pretty pond.

But I guess, after the wet and windy June, they now have some flattened flowers and shrubs, just like the rest of us !
